Jessica Mansfield Joins our Team

Blessing Hands has a new USA Assistant Director

We at Blessing Hands are delighted to have Jessica Mansfield become our new Assistant Director in the USA. The director job was getting too big for one person. She will be traveling to China, going to conferences, and reaching out to promote Blessing Hands with some promotional videos. She will also take some of my duties like publishing our newsletter and working some with sponsors and donors. I am not leaving, Jessica is joining with me to make Blessing Hands even better.

Blessings,
Betty Cutts

Announcing Jessica Mansfield
Hello Blessing Hands Family

I was blessed to join Blessing Hands' Board last year as we expanded beyond China into the Philippines, Myanmar, Thailand, and more to come. What an amazing board Betty Cutts has formed. Every person is completely committed to providing sponsorship for children that would not continue in education otherwise.

One dream of mine since high school is to find a way to create videos and documentaries on international programs like Blessing Hands. Maybe assisting Betty will make these dreams become a reality.

My educational background consist of video/radio broadcasting, a BS in cross-cultural and urban ministry, and a MA in world missions and evangelism with a focus on children at risk, unreached people groups, and world religions.

Blessings to you,
Jessica Mansfield
My Husband
Aaron Mansfield is a United Methodist pastor and is being appointed to Trinity Hill United Methodist Church in Lexington, Kentucky this summer. Aaron enjoys fishing and spending time with his family.
Our children
John, Joseph, and Nadia are all full of their own unique personalities and interests. Our family enjoys traveling together and exploring the world. They also enjoy when we have company over for dinners.
Our board will soon be changing as Jessica leaves the board to become Assistant Director. We will be adding a new board member and board secretary to replace her. All of our board members are volunteers including Betty Cutts, our Director/Founder. We have part-time paid staff that are accountants, a data entry person, and our part-time Scholarship and Thailand Assistant Director, Yaya Luo.

Unlike some charities, Blessing Hands has always spent over 90% of our budget on our programs that serve others. We intend to continue focusing on giving blessings rather than expensive management. Jessica is going to bring her wide circle of friends, new contacts made through conferences and social media, and those who watch promotional videos she produces into our Blessing Hands family. With her international connections and love of travel, she can help Blessing Hands grow in the future into other countries. It is a new thing for Blessing Hands to have a US employee, but a seed will not grow until it is watered and fertilized.
