What is Blessing Hands doing in Myanmar?

Blessing Hands helps those that help themselves and others.
Rain or Shine
Items purchased for the Myanmar villages are on their way. Di Di traveled through rain and muddy trails to get computers, printers, and other needed supplies to the villages. Here they are delivering wood for the schools to make their own desks. They traveled for a day by motorecycles to get the supplies bacto their New Taubu Village.

Satu Village Water Project

In the present situation Satu Village is using a water source that is 1.86 miles (3 kilometers) from their village, but it often becomes dry, especially in summer. Then the women have to walk to reach another spring. Now the water source which they are requesting from Blessing Hands Charity is around 3.6 miles (6 kilometers) from their village. This blue pipe will be laid to the new spring.
Will you help Satu Village secure safe, clean water for their community!

Blessing Hands plans to work with them to install a water system that will bring clean water to their village center, but it will cost $3,597.
Villagers know the problem of their water in the village. They cannot pay for the pipe by themselves, but they are able to give their effort and work together to dig a ditch for the pipe, lay the pipe, and cover it.
COVID-19 is making it more difficult for commerce and travel right now. The schools are also closed. Satu is arrranging to get pipe from a much larger town than their county seat, but truck travel is resistricted.

Give for the Satu Village water project.
Satu Villiage Water Project
Satu women carry water everyday to drink, wash, and cook. Imagine how much time they will save with running water piped to their village. That will be a real labor saving improvement.
Blessing Hands will be featuring the needs of Myanmar schools as our fund raising challenge with the Goodgiving Challenge in December 2020. The Challenge will be in cooperation with the Blue Grass Community Foundation. It takes place the first week of December. You can see one of our campaigns at this link.
