This special time of year our family celebrates the resurrection of Jesus.
I want to share a picture of my grandchildren hunting Easter Eggs. We dyed some real eggs in the old fashion way and hid them outside along with plastic eggs with money in them. Just like new life comes from an egg, the trees and flowers are waking up to show their spring glory. Blessing Hands wishes you a Happy Easter.
in Guangxi Province, China. That will let each of the 14 classrooms have three computers. We will be launching a GoFundMe campaign for donors in the near future. We will need your help to spread it online to various social media sites. Right now, we have a new video of our visit to the school completed. You can see it at this link.
The children are deaf, blind, and physically handicapped, but they can learn computer skills to support themselves in the future. We plan voice controlled software and screen readers for the blind students. The others can enjoy special educational software. We have enthusiastic volunteers working on a grant, but we want to have matching funds raised to facilitate the grant. Please give to our matching fund.
The East Oldham Middle School water purifier team will again be in Yangshuo, China June 26th - July 2nd to install five water purifiers in primary schools. Teachers and staff from the school have joined together with the students to raise money for the effort to send five team members and buy a water purifier. There will also be a China team coming from Kunming to help install them. The Gao family has helped install purifiers and funded purifiers for three years now. What a blessing the primary schools will receive in clean, safe water.
Wuxuan County and Miao Minority Program
Several friends and volunteers from China will join us to visit our new students in both Wuxuan County in Guangxi and the Miao minority children in Yunnan Province.

You can sponsor one for $84 for partial help or $295 for complete yearly sponsorship including books, clothes, and school food. You can see these two Li children at this Link. Contact us to select a student. We also have students in Yangshuo needing sponsors. Follow this link to see them.
Our whole trip will end on July 15th after we have visited schools, projects, and friends. We will have scholarship lunches in four cities to see our college students. We are developing a WeChat page to introduce Blessing Hands in China. Everyone uses a mobile phone nowadays. WeChat is the common way Chinese communicate. It is a free phone app download. Imagine Facebook for your phone, except you can make free international phone calls both private and conference. I love it.
We have gracious helpers who are developing our story in Chinese and English so people in China can learn about Blessing Hands. I will share the page when it is ready. WeChat is useful anywhere. I recommend it to anyone in the USA also. Download your WeChat app so you will be able to see our page and chat with friends all over the world.
I am a mother and housewife that loves China and children. The two interests
have come together in serving the children of China who need help with
educational needs. I started as a teacher in an English summer camp and got to
know the teachers first. When I toured their schools and met their precious
students, I could see many needs and decided to try to help. I first started a
fund to assist children with tuition, but it has expanded into a 501(c)(3)public
charity granting money for textbooks and school supplies for primary school and
lower middle school students and tuition for older students.
