Dedication of Taubu School
Dedication of Taubu School
Local Leaders and Elders of Taubu Village came to Dedicate the new Blessing Hands School on October 5, 2024.
This marker was the centerpiece of the dedication ceremony.
The ladies are wearing their national dress and draped the marker with it too for the unfailing ceremony. They had Betty Cutts, founder of Blessing Hands, make a short video for the dedication.
They also cleared the area in front of the school to be a playground. The whole village was involved and they crowned it with a community meal.
Renfu needs a sponsor to help her family recover
from the cyclone that flooded her home.
"Hi, my name is Lu Renfu. I’m 18 years old now. My hero father passed away when I was in sixth grade. My mother had to face reality and all the problems. My mother had to borrow some money from some relatives, and she had to go outside to work to earn some money, but her work is unstable, and she is often sick. My older brother worked in Bangkok as a chef, but he is sick now with a lung problem. I have a younger sister still in school.
I like to study. English is especially the subject I like most. I attend the En Hui School’s English Competition every year. I wish I could continue my studies in a Bible university. Thank you for supporting me, which lets me have opportunities to learn more. Take care, and God bless."
Renfu's house is flooded, and the family is in terrible circumstances. Renfu is a student at En Hui School in Arunothai Village in Thailand. She graduates this year. She is a volunteer Sunday School teacher. She needs $40 a month for her support. She needs a sponsor who would help her with additional aid money through this tough time. $360 will sponsor her until she graduates.
The flooding has hit the village hard with six families unable to stay in their homes. Each of the six families need one time relief of $452. You can give for their needs on our website at BlessingHands.org.
