Carina Hits the Philippines

Typhoon Carina Hits the Philippines and

Riversprings School.

Please Help.

These are some of the students at Riverspring School.

Are you aware of the havoc caused by the recent typhoon in the Philippines? Riversprings School has 180 students, 15 teachers, and 9 staff who were affected by the flood. The school needs funds to provide their students with raincoats and boots, especially now that they are at the start of the rainy season. Boots and raincoats for all 180 students would come to $1,088. If we just helped our 20 sponsored students there, it would be $132.87.

We also want to provide a bag of groceries for each student's family whose homes were damaged by the flood. The food package would be $8.04 per 180 students = $1,447. It would contain sugar, rice, noodles, instant coffee, crackers, and canned sardines and meatloaf. If we raise the money for both the food and rain gear for all students, it would come to $2,535.

Please give any amount below to help the children.

Blessing Hands has begun to help ten students at Hloma School in Myanmar. The movie shows you what this school looks like with their new desks made from wood Blessing Hands gave them. Eight new Hloma students are featured below the video. Select one to sponsor and message us. Your gift will buy them school supplies, backpacks, books, and school uniforms which are required in Myanmar.
